The Fair Isle Grows

The photo below shows the corrugated ribbing and the first 2 charts plus most of the 3rd.

As suggested by Meg Swanson, I used the German Twisted Cast On, which is not supposed to roll. As you can see, it wants to, but I think it will lay flat with proper blocking.

  1. I tried the same cast on and mine wanted to curl every bit as much as long tail cast on but haven’t finished yet so I don’t have any experience with whether it comes out after blocking. Marina might be a good person to ask about these things over at Stranded on Fair Isle. I read that you can insert a thing strip of elastic if it doesn’t want to stop curling. The colors are so pretty!
